The challenge.

For over four years, our collaboration with Nutanix has centred on securing top positions for priority keywords within an intensely competitive landscape across five EMEA markets: the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

We have covered a wide range of topical entities in the last year only, ranging from “HCI” to “Hybrid multicloud” or “virtualisation”.

Our biggest challenge is that all technical aspects of the site are ultimately controlled by the US team (hierarchy, structure, hreflangs, sitemaps, redirects…) and although we collaborate with them closely, our direct influence is limited to copy, SEO elements and internal links on informational pages (not commercial pages).

Our response.

To navigate these constraints, we prioritise the optimisation of topical entities and generate new content to bridge any existing gaps across all five markets.

Our strategy involves conducting meticulous local keyword and competitor research for each region to ensure we align with the search behaviours of users in each locale. This enables us to formulate precise SEO recommendations—including titles, descriptions, and internal links—and craft comprehensive content briefs tailored to each market.

A cornerstone of our approach includes targeting SERP features to bolster visibility and click-through rates (CTRs) for Nutanix.
