Background
The Gurkha Welfare Trust provides financial, medical and development aid to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities and ensure that Gurkha veterans, their widows and their wider communities are able to live their lives with dignity.
Objective
The Ghurka Welfare Trust had found themselves in a situation where editing their website was a rigorous task because of the support and difficulty of the CMS. So the objective was to find a solution that would support constant editing by the team members of Ghurka Welfare Trust.
With this, the user experience and branding were also an integral part of the project which was to be improved for easier access to the different parts of the website, specifically donating and interacting with the community.
Approach
Passion advised which other options were out on the market and how that would work on the new website and in the foreseeable future. We mapped out the new user journeys based on information that we had acquired and paired this up with technical requirements, in form of wireframes and a prototype.
A WordPress solution with an integrated payment platform, event organiser, and SEO tools was a great match for this project.
