The challenge.

They called on Passion to support them in boosting their organic visibility in the Google Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs), increasing brand awareness and driving more sales.

Our e-commerce accessories client has over 80 years of experience crafting and supplying an ever-evolving range, both in the UK and internationally.

Our response.

We began by conducting keyword research around search phrases that are core to the business and the products that they offer, along with a competitor analysis and a technical audit that allowed us to glean a holistic view of current performance.

Through the keyword research, we were able to identify opportunities to start ranking higher across the SERPs and what needed to be prioritised. This was combined with proper insights into direct competitors and a technical audit of the website, and all blended into the strategy to deliver the right results.

The impact.

Between June and October 2022, we delivered a 143% increase in clicks to the client’s website, as well as a 170% and 180% increase in organic transactions and revenue, respectively—and we improved their conversion rate by 35%.

This shows the effectiveness of the newly optimised metadata in enticing users to click through to the website from the SERPs. It was relevant to the on-site page and the users’ search intent – hence the increase in organic transactions, revenue and conversion rate.
