BigOceanData brings a whole world of marine information to their customers, using the latest in satellite technology to globally monitor the transit of vessels in real time.

objective

Passion Digital set out to create a slick B2B experience for BigOceanData in order to drive sales for their software. Previously Globavista, BigOceanData is the latest iteration of this global vessel monitoring and tracking tool.

We needed to do justice to this powerful and complex software by presenting to the user exactly what they’re signing up for using interactive screenshots and a useful pricing calculator.

approach

We used interactive prototypes in InVision to iterate and demonstrate our designs from low-fidelity to high-fidelity visuals. The website build uses a combination of technologies, from WordPress to Angular JS to interface between the client portal.
